Bottling day (actually night) was September 29th. The three carboys were nice and clear. I'll describe the process through the progression of pictures.
This carboy is being siphoned into a bottling bucket. One cup of corn sugar (not quite the same as corn syrup) has been added to provide the carbonation when bottled and capped.
Don't let the darkness fool you. This is actually a Cream Ale. Though a little darker than my prior Cream Ales, it is more of an amber color in the bottle.
Joel is filling the bottles. I hate to waste the small amount that spills but it seems inevitable when bottling. The little red cup was for sampling. Yes, I liked it.
I was doing the bottle capping. Joel fills, I cap. Joel fills, I cap. Repeat over 100 times.
It is almost midnight and we are tired but finished.
The bottles on the left have Black Caps (Cream Ale).
The bottles in the middle (Yellow) are Sweet Stout.
The brown capped bottles are Nut Brown Ale.
In two to three weeks, I'll be taste testing for finish and carbonation level. You will have to wait until the reception!
